On a whim, I have recently ordered few ebay dupes of MAC, Real technique and Sigma brushes...and am so impressed with the price and quality that had to make a post about'em.

Another month another review, this time its The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil.

I know I haven't wrote anything since last year (haha) but in my defense, I have been super busy...so anyway thought I'd stop by with a review and what better to review than my most fav product in my current skincare regime?

How do ya'll clean your make-up brush? Me I used to mix face-wash and toner with warm water and saturate the brush in the mixture for 15-20 minutes but it takes time and effort. So obviously when Sigma came out with the spa brush cleaning glove, i was intrigued....

But paying $35 for this was never an option, but fortunately I found a very cheap and effective almost identical dupe for Sigma Spa Brush cleaning glove muhahaha

If there is only one type of make-up I could pick, I would pick blush. I love blush. I am almost never without a bit of color on my cheeks. Never!!
Now, I have medium-subcontinental-olive-ish skin-tone and never really liked pink blushes much. Different shades of orange, on the other hand, work out so well.  In fact they are all I ever apply these days..
So naturally, I had to get two famous Sleek's famous blush by 3 palettes for orange shades, Lace and Pumpkin.

Brace yourself, winter is coming...and its bringing all the dryness in the world to play havoc on skin/hair/lips you name it. So do you suffer from dry hair during the winter? Dry hair is more prone to stretch and damage. It will also lead to way more split ends than usual.
Here is a simple trick to prevent that from happening.

This is my first ever hair tutorial so go easy.

I was just browsing  Bodyshop website randomly (which I do a lot) and came across this mask. Read the first few reviews (do it, I dare you) and I just had to get it (Of course I had to wait until a sale, Bodyshop is always giving one sale after another and buying something without sale would be such an waste.)

I have had one organic raw shea butter lying around in the fridge forever.  I had to process it before use and I felt so lazy! And I already have too many body butters as it is. But winter is coming and even though my hair isn't normally dry, it will be. So I made this DIY Shea Butter whip with coconut and honeysuckle oil.

I have been reading so much about at-home peels and thier amazing results, finally decided to try for myself. But did my research first. Went with very low strenght, 35% glocolic peel from skin  beauty solution. Figured out once I start slow, I can build up a tolerance and then go higher and maybe try stronger peels like TCA later.

I have a round face so obviously contouring is a must. It just also happens to be my most fav make-up thing to do in the world, sculpting face in general.

Round faces, well, its just round. While it is good to have that much fat underneath the skin, make us look younger and stay younger and all, it can also be terribly boring. Contouring is an awesome way to add definition to round faces, if done properly that is.

I get a lot of messages every week asking about hairfall problems. I myself have suffered through this during different stages of my life. Back when I first started chemical processing. Rebonding and hair colors and highlighting. Then I stopped doing all those and it was all fine for a while and then boom hair started falling again. Turns out it was my thyroid.

Anyway so with the universal solution of oiling your hair and stopping over processing, there are also a number of other things to be done here. I am writing it all down so I can simply forward this link instead of replying everyone individually about things that I know of.

I have hyper-pigmented lips. Most of the time, I dont really bother much to do with anything about it and wear lipstick/tint/gloss/balm as it is (for example, see my MUA power pout swatches here), visible hyperpigmentation be damned.

But sometimes when I am going for really nude-ish color and want that pale look, hyperpigmentation can totally ruin the effect. That is where concealer comes in play.

I have been wanting to review this product ever since I tried it first. Yes, I was that impressed. But still I waited about a month to see the somewhat long-term effects before getting around it.

I bought 3 MUA power pout lipstick/lip-balm a while ago. Swatched immediately. Fell in love with them immediately. However, after using a month or two, I am having some second thoughts. So time to review.

I have been trying to grow my hair out for sometimes now. I do get my end trimmed every 6 months or so but my last hair cut was atleast 14-15 months ago. My Hair has grown from not even shoulder lenght to almost waist lenght in this time period. Mind you, my hair doesn't normally grow in this rate. I credit it all to atleast once a week application of castor oil (wrote a detailed post on it back a while here)
