The Body Shop Vitamin E Illuminating Moisture Cream Review

I have been reading about this cream for ages. But the "illuminating" part made me pause...I have oily skin. I have sub-continental skin-tone. Didn't know if it was a good idea to incorporate pink color! and glitters! Specially ordering online, as I have no idea how it would turn out.

So when I found a Body Shop showroom during my recent India tour, this is the product that I tested first. And fell in love in first sight try.

This, is a moisturizing cream with a twist...an illuminating twist if I may...

The cream comes in your pretty standard body shop plastic container. The make and the color reminded me of Body shop vitamin E cream (regular one). That is Body Shop's whole color policy, isn't it?

There isn't much information on the labels as well. You can always go to the Body Shop website to to learn more info about the product.

Anyway so it does what it says, it moisturizes well. But it also adds a pretty pink hue to my skin...

See the pink hue? I have always been the one who likes a bit of color in my life, I mean face. Blush and bronzers are may my most fav make up. But they are make-up, this is a moisturizer. So its like all-in-one.

Please know that this amount is for demonstration only. I wont put this much cream on my face or would end of looking like a glitter-ball. Just a little, very tiny amount, distributed as dots over my nose, forehead, cheeks and chin is enough to make my skin intensely moisturized and a healthy pink glow.

Again, this much product I have used for demonstration, a little doesn't work with camera...I wouldn't be caught dead wearing this much product. But a little really does the trick. I have been using this cream pretty regularly these days specially at moments when I felt my skin was looking a bit dull. If I am going out, I would just build up a bit more on my cheeks and no need for any extra blush.

Be wary though, too much and you'll look shiny-glittery-vampiry..and with a purple hue as opposed to pink, specially on medium to dark skin tone.

It is also pretty good as a moisturizer. I have really really oily skin but have had no problem no shine no breakout nothing so far. Maybe because I am not using a lot. But when it comes to moisturizer and oily skin, less is more.

Also it is a Vitamin E cream, one the of the most useful vit you can give your skin.

Needlees to say I am highlight impressed with this cream and would recommend it to everyone in a heartbeat.  Whether you are looking for a good moisturizer or simply having a dull-skin-day, this cream is for you.

Do you want to buy it? Dont lie to me now, I know you do...tell me more :D
